Dominator Culture…the Most Deadly of Viruses

My purpose is to create peace in the world by ending the war within. To do this, we must heal our trauma on the individual level.

ALL trauma must be healed at the individual level first by enough people for them to affect the collective enough that the social actions will be taken to effect change on a societal level. This includes an acknowledgement of what actually happened AND reparations for harms done being made to the best of our ability as a society. As Dr Gabor Maté so aptly stated, “We cannot heal until we acknowledge what has happened.”

Each and every one of us who is willing to and does our own self examination, faces our own complicity and generational trauma as well…not from shame, but rather from the space of acknowledgement and healing…affects the collective. We are all One and what we do affects The All. It is the belief of individualism and complete separation that allows us to violate another in the first place. We can't end Dominator culture by using dominator culture methods.

Dominator culture is a virus that replicates itself through trauma.  We MUST do the sacred work of healing ourselves, thereby neutralizing the virus within us.  We must end this self-perpetuating cycle.  By healing the trauma, we end the cycle.

It is not possible for a societal trauma to exist without there also being trauma on the individual level many, many times over. They are not separable! Both trauma being enacted and trauma being healed on the individual levels affect the collective...always!

My upbringing and early life, spent within the polygamist community of southern BC, Canada, has sparked a passion for freedom and healing and deep compassion for those still in their own healing process. 20 years experience as a RN and midwife have been the perfect preparation for the trauma work I do as I guide through the process of rebirth into authentic expression.
