Hi, I’m Freyja Inanna.
I am an Integrative Health Advocate, Psychosomatic Therapist and Trauma Release Facilitator as well as Certified Herbalist of more than twenty years (read the story of our Apothecary here).
My professional experience includes many years as a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and more recently, Psychosomatic Therapist as well as being certified in other complementary healing modalities, including Sound Medicine and Emotion Code.
I have co-founded and run a healing retreat center, Inanna Sanctuary, with previous locations in Florida and Costa Rica, have written extensively in blogs and articles, and advocate for mental health, women’s issues and civil rights.
My upbringing and early life, spent within the polygamist community of southern BC, Canada, has sparked a passion for freedom and healing as well as deep compassion for those still in the intensity of their own healing process.
I have spent my life interacting with patients and clients in environments ranging from childbirth to death, engaged in various modalities and levels of healing. As a result, I am able to connect easily with others and guide them in the process of discovering what would best serve to assist in their highest empowerment and authentic expression.
Our Herbalist
Freyja Inanna comes from a long line of natural healing practitioners, passed down from mother to daughter. Her formal education includes Certified Herbalist (Practical Herbalist program at College of the Rockies), training in Aromatherapy (over 20 years experience in this field,) as well as decades of experience as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Her healing arts have greatly benefited her community, children and grandchildren over her many years of service. She brings her unique mix of formal training and a lively curiosity in creating her own formulas, as well as the classic herbal formulary.
If you are feeling that natural/herbal medicine is the path you wish to follow or that it would compliment your allopathic treatments, but just aren't sure which remedies/herbs would be best and most effective for you and what you are experiencing, you can schedule a free one-time 15 minute consultation with Freyja. She looks forward to creating a plan for wellness that is tailored just for you!
If you have already had a short consultation with Freyja, and desire further guidance OR have a level of complexity in your health that requires more than a short 15 minute session, you can schedule a 45 minute consultation here.
My Passion
My passion is to create peace, pleasure, passion and freedom in the world by creating it first within myself and through guiding others on their journeys of creating their own authentic joyful expression.
I have been called a master of the joy and bliss state…I am re-Membering this more and more all the time and am reminded often of the importance of tapping into and truly living in this state of presence. I am choosing to live life more fully expressed than ever before!

COMMON QUESTIONS +
How should I prepare for my first session?
Once you have completed the online application and scheduled your consutation, take some time to feel into your body. Note any sensations, pain, emotion that comes up and any thought patterns that arise and write these down. This is powerful information that will be explored during your session. I look forward to speaking with you!
May I have a support person with me during my session?
Of course, you may...as long as you will feel comfortable with being deeply vulnerable with that person as witness and can be fully honest about anything that comes up with them present.
